Elcrest Exploration and Production Limited is a Nigerian oil and gas company focused on hydrocarbon development and production. Our operations center on OML 40, a 498 square kilometer onshore license in the Niger Delta, approximately 65 km northwest of Warri.

We are a joint venture between Starcrest (55%) and Eland Oil and Gas Limited (45%). Elcrest holds a 45% stake in OML 40, partnering with NNPC Exploration and Production Limited (NEPL), which owns 55% and operates the license.

Our History

The acquisition of a 45% equity stake in OML 40 by Elcrest was completed in September 2012. Since 2014, the NEPL/Elcrest joint venture has been producing oil from the Opuama field.
