Adenike Omoroga is a finance executive with over 13 years of expertise in the energy industry. She specializes in cost management, financial reporting, joint venture finance, strategic relationship management, and business partnering. As Chief Financial Officer of Elcrest Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited, she leads financial strategy and governance, ensuring operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Before assuming her current role, Adenike was the JV Finance Manager at Seplat Energy Plc, where she managed joint venture financials for assets with an annual budget exceeding $1 billion. She successfully fostered collaborative partnerships with joint venture partners and regulatory bodies, achieving outstanding cost recovery rates and resolving legacy issues that resulted in financial recoveries.
Adept at driving strategic initiatives, Adenike has played a pivotal role in project management for over 64 exploration and development wells and contributed to securing investments such as NEPL’s acquisition of the Oben Gas Plant. She is also a passionate mentor, having cultivated high-performing finance teams and championed professional growth across her organization.
Adenike holds an MSc in Professional Accountancy from the University of London, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) United Kingdom. She is also an alumnus of the prestigious London Business School.
