Pius Udeh has over 30 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, specializing in subsurface, reservoir engineering, field development, and wells, reservoirs, and facilities management. His expertise includes the management of brown fields, new field developments, and Asset acquisitions. He began his career at Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), holding senior roles at Shell Nigeria where he succeeded to the role of principal Reservoir Engineer and Senior Reservoir Engineer at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) on overseas assignment. Later, he joined the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi ARAMCO) as Petroleum Engineer-1 and succeeded to the role of Petroleum Engineering Specialist where he managed a waterflood asset with 500 Mbopd. He subsequently joined Seplat Energy plc in 2013 as Chief Reservoir Engineer and succeeded to several senior positions such as Asset Development manager of Seplat Western asset, Managing Director of Seplat Eastern Asset and in 2022 got assigned to one of the subsidiaries of Seplat Energy Plc, Elcrest E&P Nig. Ltd where he is currently serving as the MD/CEO. In this role, Pius is driving a transformative agenda to maximize production, grow the Asset, and maximize returns to all stakeholders.

A COREN Registered Engineer, Pius is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), a member of the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE), and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). He holds B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from UNN and an MBA from Imperial College, University of London, and has completed various training courses in Petroleum Engineering, Field Development, Strategy and Leadership, Health and Safety, and Project Management.
